Jamilet Calderon, LMHC
Jamilet completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College. She continued her training within an evidenced model of family therapy (Multi-Systemic Therapy; MST- substance abuse adaptation). She has experience providing family, couples and individual counseling to support families in addressing behavioral and relational issues. Jamilet has worked with clients on reducing the impact of anxiety and depressive symptoms by taking a strengths based and multi-systemic approach to problem solving. Supporting clients in building autonomy within their environment. Jamilet uses a person-centered, goal oriented approach to therapy. She provides her clients with a supportive environment where they can use their insight to navigate and surpass their challenges.
