Nicolette received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Queens College University. She has clinical training working as a therapist providing individual, family, and group counseling at a college campus, outpatient clinics, and recently at a foster care agency. Nicolette has experience counseling diverse groups of children, adolescents, and adults and utilizes an eclectic approach with an emphasis on CBT, client-centered, REBT, and psychodynamic techniques. She has experience working with clinical issues such as anxiety, life transitions, substance use, sexual abuse, trauma, emotional distress, depression, anger, personal development, and relationship issues. Nicolette has been successful in developing a therapeutic and safe environment for clients while providing a non-judgmental and warm atmosphere for them.
