Aurela earned her Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Mercy College in 2021. She has worked with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She has also trained in two non-profit organizations, each offering unique experiences working with diverse populations and addressing various mental health needs.

To create a comfortable environment for her clients, Aurela builds rapport through active listening and empathy, maintaining clear communication, respecting boundaries, and making the physical space calming and inviting. Her goal in treating clients is to help them feel supported, understood, and empowered. She aims to foster a safe space for open communication where they can express themselves freely and work through challenges.
