Jaime Hermann, MHC-LP

Staff Therapist

Bio

Jaime received her master's degree in mental health counseling at the University of Albany in 2023. Jaime has three years of experience providing counseling with all ages and incarcerated youth. She has gained her experiences by training at behavioral health clinics and private practices and using approaches such as psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed to help her clients with their mental health journey.

Jaime believes every individual possesses an innate capacity for growth and healing. Jaime would like to create a comfortable space where her clients' potential can unfold naturally. Jaime also strives to create a non-judgmental, open environment where patients feel truly seen and heard. By honoring their experiences and perspectives, Jaime encourages a collaborative relationship where they feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Jaime's goal is to foster a strong therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, respect, and unconditional positive regard. Jaime aims to empower her clients to discover their solutions and make choices that are aligned with their true selves. Her goal is not to direct or impose solutions, but to help clients gain greater self-awareness and confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.
