Jennifer is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate from Hofstra University. She has previous counseling experience working at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Center and in non-profit agency settings. In addition, she also has experience providing therapeutic services to diverse clients, ranging from early childhood and adolescents through adulthood. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has experience treating a range of issues that include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, interpersonal challenges and she also provides family therapy.

She meets each client where they are and tailors her approach to best suit their individual needs. She utilizes an integrated approach based on client- centered models, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapies.

Jennifer views the therapeutic process as collaborative and prioritizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Jennifer provides empathetic, culturally-competent and high quality care for her clients. Her goal as a counselor is to promote client self-actualization by working with her clients find the tools
they require to advocate for themselves.
