Bio

Tasha graduated from Walden University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and she is a certified counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Tasha also completed her internship with Reality House Inc, where she assisted adult men and women with substance use disorders. She is currently accepting individuals and couples 17 years of age and older.

Tasha takes pride in being an open-minded and empathetic individual who meets her clients wherever they are in their life’s journey. Her goal is to help clients view therapy as an opportunity for self-awareness, embracing change, self-love, and personal growth. She provides unwavering support, holds clients accountable, offers empathy, and encourages every person she has the pleasure of working with.

Tasha has experience working with individuals suffering from depressive symptoms, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, women’s issues, grief, romantic/interpersonal relationships, family dynamic issues, trauma, sleep issues, chronic health issues, misaligned goals, career/education issues, personal/racial identity crises, substance use, and general life stressors. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Psychoeducational approaches to assist her clients.
