Bio
Caitlyn earned her master’s degree in Psychology from The New School for Social Research in 2017, with a focus on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling, and a second master’s in Clinical Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2024. Caitlyn has experience providing clinical counseling, working with veterans, first responders, and their families, as well as individuals and couples aged 20 to 65+, addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, spirituality, family conflict, anger management, addiction, and more.
Caitlyn engages with each client with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to fostering growth. Though her approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory to address deeper root issues, Caitlyn also embraces a flexible orientation that incorporates techniques such as CBT, EFT, Mindfulness, and solution-focused methods when appropriate to best support each client’s unique needs. Caitlyn aims to support clients in their healing journey, fostering resilience, emotional wellness, and personal growth, guiding them toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their potential.
