Staff Therapist

Bio

Daniella earned her Master’s degree from Stony Brook University in 2017 and has years of experience providing counseling. Daniella has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in both individual and group therapy settings, including domestic violence counseling. Her clinical training includes experience in PROS programs, outpatient facilities, and private practice.

Daniella brings an eclectic, trauma-informed approach to treatment, drawing from a wide range of theoretical orientations such as DBT, CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy. Daniella consistently incorporates psychoeducation into her work to ensure clients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in understanding both the therapeutic process and the underlying factors contributing to their challenges.

Daniella’s goal in treatment is to help clients notice meaningful changes in their lives that reflect the insight and work taking place in sessions. Daniella strives to create a safe, collaborative environment with open communication about session structure, treatment goals, and any additional modalities or adjustments that clients feel would best support their growth.
