Jessica Elcik, MHC-LP

Staff Therapist

Bio

Jessica received her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from St. John’s University in December 2023. Jessica has been providing counseling for the past year at my internship site, The New Hope Mental Health Counseling Services. She had worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, OCD, and grief and loss.

Jessica utilizes a psychodynamic orientation and incorporates evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy. Her style is unstructured and client-centered, and her work is rooted in a strengths-based perspective. Jessica creates a comfortable environment for her patients by approaching them with compassion and providing them with a judgment-free space. Her goal in treating each client is to engage in an honest, collaborative relationship and adapt to the needs of every unique individual.
