Bio

Louis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, with over 30 years of dedicated experience. He earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook, where he developed a strong foundation in therapeutic practices and client care. Louis's primary goal is to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance with each client, empowering them to recognize their potential and achieve their personal goals. Through compassionate guidance and a commitment to understanding, he strives to help clients embark on their journey toward lasting change and fulfillment.

Throughout his career, Louis has been committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of substance abuse and emotional health. In his practice, Louis utilizes motivational interviewing as a cornerstone for fostering personal growth. He incorporates CBT and other effective therapeutic methods tailored to individual needs.

Louis has extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults struggling with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and is passionate about creating a non-threatening atmosphere rooted in authenticity and attachment.
