Bio
Mucella holds an M.A. in Psychological Counseling (2020) and an M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling (2021) from Columbia University. She brings over five years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and now focuses on supporting adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her training includes private practice, school-based, and university settings. She works with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions, promoting well-being and meaningful personal growth.
Mucella works from a relational, integrative approach grounded in Person-Centered therapy and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic principles. She incorporates mindfulness and somatic techniques to strengthen emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, and support values-based change.
She offers a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences with openness and compassion. Mucella supports individuals in gaining insight, strengthening self-trust, and shifting recurring patterns that may be holding them back. Together, they work toward building resilience, clarity, and lasting, meaningful change.
