Bio
Patricia earned her Master’s degree in Psychological Studies with a concentration in Sports Psychology in 2014, followed by a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2017, both from Seton Hall University. Her diverse clinical background includes providing individual and group counseling for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in the Acute Outpatient Behavioral Health program at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. Additionally, she has extensive experience supporting college students and student-athletes within the Wellness Department at Caldwell University.
In her clinical practice, Patricia treats young and older adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and grief. She utilizes a tailored, integrative approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Existential modalities.
Patricia creates a calm and inviting environment for her clients while establishing a strong rapport. Her hope is to get her clients as close to their goals as possible and to learn new coping skills to help them feel motivated and empowered.
