Farah Benenati, LCSW

Bio

Farah is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. In her role at Nassau Psychology, she provides therapy for individual adults - supporting clients with mood disorders, anxiety, emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships. She is highly skilled in working with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust and strengthen emotional connection.

In her role as Lead Supervisor, Farah trains new therapists and reviews their cases to make sure every client is getting the best care. She oversees a team of telehealth therapists, providing them with case consultation and offering guidance and mentorship to emerging clinicians while supporting their professional development.

Farah received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 2002. She strives to create a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore thoughts and emotions. Farah believes therapy is a collaborative process, and she works alongside her clients to build insight, develop strategies, and foster meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to help each individual and couple feel more confident, resilient and connected in their daily lives. With compassion, she is dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges.
