Bio

Mindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience providing compassionate therapeutic services. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Adelphi University and has extensive experience in trauma‑informed care and grief counseling. Mindy has served as a Clinical Supervisor and Program Administrator, offering mentorship and clinical supervision to mental health professionals. Her background includes community‑based programs, residential treatment, and outpatient mental health settings. At Nassau Psychology, Mindy is a Lead Clinical Supervisor providing supervision to therapists on her telehealth team.

Mindy’s approach is trauma informed, strength based and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She draws from Trauma, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Narrative, and CBT Therapies. She specializes in treating the emotional and behavioral impact of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions.

Mindy creates a supportive, empathetic and safe therapeutic setting. Her collaborative approach helps clients gain insight, learn new coping strategies, and increase their self-value. Clients are empowered to strengthen their own resilience so they may continue to learn, heal, and grow with confidence and self-compassion.
