Ahlam "Ally" Rafiee, MHC-LP

Staff Therapist

Bio

Ally earned her Master's degree from Adelphi University and has experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. She completed her clinical training in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with clients across a wide range of ages and experiences.

Ally draws from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs. She creates a comfortable environment by meeting clients with warmth, empathy, and without judgment. Through active listening, validation, and respect for each client's pace, she fosters a collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Ally's goal is to help clients build the skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges independently. She encourages clients to explore their experiences, gain insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change that aligns with their personal goals and values.
