Allen earned his Master's degree from Columbia University and completed his clinical training through internships, providing counseling to adults. He also has experience in crisis intervention while working with a high risk population. Allen utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Schema Therapy. He tailors his approach to each client's unique needs, recognizing that every person's experiences, strengths, and goals are different. He is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard and empowered.

By prioritizing the individual and fostering safety and trust, Allen builds a strong therapeutic relationship that encourages openness, curiosity, and personal growth.
