Bio
Alyssa earned her Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Clinical/Counseling Psychology in 2024 from The College of New Jersey and graduated from Adelphi University in May 2026 with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Alyssa completed her clinical training at Nassau Psychology working with children, young adults and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem issues, and interpersonal/relational concerns. Alyssa also has experience working within school districts with many populations such as elementary school students who are struggling with behavioral issues/learning disabilities.
Alyssa utilizes Psychoanalytic, Cognitive Theory, and Humanistic therapy and her goal is to collaboratively work with clients to reach their therapeutic goals.
Alyssa is committed to learning and growing as an individual as she continues to learn about each one of her clients. Her goal is to create a safe space for them throughout their therapeutic journey.
