Alyssa earned her Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Clinical/Counseling Psychology in 2024 and is currently attending Adelphi University to obtain her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked with many populations such as elementary school students struggling with behavioral issues/learning disabilities, adolescents dealing with substance abuse, depression, and anxiety, and low-income/low-resource communities facing mental health struggles. She utilizes Psychoanalytic and Cognitive Theory and her goal is to to collaboratively work with her clients to reach their therapeutic goals. Through the process, she aims to remain self-reflective to continue to learn and grow as an individual as she continuously learns about each one of her clients. Her ultimate goal is to create a safe space for them throughout their therapeutic journey.
