Staff Therapist
Bio
Angelina earned her Master’s degree from Adelphi University and has extensive experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has trained in both inpatient and private practice settings, giving her experience supporting clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.
Angelina's therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic and client-centered therapy, attachment-based work, and play therapy. She tailors treatment to each individual’s unique needs, recognizing that every client’s experience and healing process is different.
Angelina strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to move at their own pace. She believes in meeting clients in the present moment and allowing sessions to be guided by each person’s comfort level and readiness for change. Her goal in treatment is to help clients develop practical tools they can carry throughout life while fostering greater self-understanding, emotional awareness, and self-compassion. Through therapy, Angelina encourages clients to approach themselves with curiosity rather than judgment, helping them build insight, resilience, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
