Bio

Aubrey earned his master’s degree from New York University in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness in May 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hampton University in May 2018. He previously worked at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) where he provided counseling and therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. At NYPCC, he conducted both in-person and remote sessions to adults with anxiety and depressive disorders.

Aubrey utilizes a collaborative and integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from person-centered, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT).

Aubrey strives to create a safe, supportive and confidential environment where clients feel validated and empowered from their very first session. Through active and empathic listening, he ensures his clients are being heard. Aubrey works closely with clients to develop individualized, meaningful goals aimed at improving overall wellness and fostering long-term growth. Aubrey sees therapy as a marathon, not a sprint.
