Bio
Dmitria earned her Master's degree from Tulane University and completed her clinical training in a nonprofit setting, providing counseling to survivors of violence ages 16 to 24. She is passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges. Dmitria creates a warm, welcoming environment through deep, nonjudgmental curiosity, and compassion. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship helps clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She strives to help clients develop practical coping skills and increase self-awareness.
Dmitria utilizes an integrative therapy approach, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and other trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and somatic approaches. She tailors treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths and goals.
