Emily Lampasone, MHC Intern

Bio

Emily is currently pursuing her master's degree at Hofstra University and is expected to graduate in January 2026. She has worked with a diverse range of populations, including children, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school students, middle school students, high school students, and college students. Much of her experience involves supporting college student-athletes - helping them balance academics, athletics, and personal development. In addition to working with children and students at various educational levels, she has also supported adults who are experiencing grief and bereavement. She utilizes solution-focused therapy, a person-centered approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy.

Emily has a strong desire to help individuals who are dealing with a range of challenges, including anxiety, behavioral issues, grief and bereavement, trauma, stress, self-esteem, and women's issues. Her primary goals in working collaboratively with clients are to support their overall well-being, facilitate personal growth, and help them overcome the challenges they face.
