Emily Lampasone, MHC-LP

Staff Therapist

Bio

Emily earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of ages and concerns; from supporting young children with behavioral challenges to helping adolescents manage their anxiety, their emotional regulation, and their interpersonal relationships.

A core part of Emily’s professional identity is her specialization in grief and loss. She has dedicated her clinical training and continuing education to understanding the complexities of bereavement and has supported individuals across the lifespan as they navigate different forms of grief. Emily approaches this work with a combination of clinical expertise and deep empathy, helping clients move through loss at their own pace.

Emily also works with women’s issues and relational concerns. She uses an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When working with children, she incorporates developmentally appropriate interventions such as play therapy and creative arts techniques.

Above all, Emily strives to create a warm, safe, and collaborative therapeutic environment where individuals feel supported in their personal growth and emotional well-being.
