Bio
Megan earned her Master’s degree from SUNY Albany in December 2025 and has counseling experience gained through her graduate internship. Megan has worked with adults and seniors in individual therapy settings, supporting clients with a range of emotional and psychological needs. Megan completed her training at a community mental health clinic, specifically the Albany Medical Center Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, where she developed experience working in an outpatient setting.
Megan utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic techniques, and mindfulness practices to best support each client’s goals. Megan prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly. She believes that building trust is essential to the therapeutic process and works alongside clients to identify their strengths while exploring areas for growth.
Megan's goals in treatment are to guide clients in self-discovery, help them build confidence, and support them in developing practical skills they can carry into their daily lives. Megan also emphasizes increasing self-awareness, recognizing that meaningful change begins with understanding oneself more deeply.
