Bio

Mia is currently pursuing her master's degree at Hofstra University and is expected to graduate in December 2025. Mia has experience working with both children and their families, specifically children with behavioral issues, ADHD, stress, and anxiety. She utilizes approaches such as CBT, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.

Mia is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment centered on trust and rapport. She believes in the power of a collaborative partnership, where there is clear communication, empathy, and respect.

Her goal is to foster an atmosphere that not only promotes comfort, but also empowers clients to grow and to work closely to understand and address each client's unique needs. She aims to support clients in gaining deeper self-awareness and making the positive changes they desire in their lives.
