Bio
Michelle earned her Master's degree from Liberty University and completed her clinical training in both private practice and nonprofit agency settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
Michelle utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Michelle tailors her approach to each client's unique needs and goals, believing that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth. She builds rapport through warmth, kindness, and a non-judgmental approach, creating a space where clients feel safe and understood.
Her goal for clients is to support emotional healing, personal growth, and overall well-being. She helps clients develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, gain greater insight, and strengthen their confidence to live in alignment with their goals and values.
