Bio
Sydney Navarro-Paci earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in January 2024. During her training and professional experience with the Global Psychiatric Epidemiology Group and in private practice settings, she has provided counseling to adults and couples across a range of clinical concerns.
Sydney utilizes an integrative, person-centered and evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her clinical work is grounded in thoughtful assessment, collaboration, and a commitment to supporting meaningful change while meeting clients wherever they are in their mental health journey.
She fosters a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their authentic thoughts, and emotions. Sydney’s goal is to help clients deepen emotional awareness, build self-acceptance, strengthen self-esteem, and enhance overall life satisfaction and professional functioning.
