Bio
Tori received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University in 2022. She is currently working to complete her post-graduate licensing hours at Nassau Psychology. Tori has been working in the mental health field since 2019 in various settings such as a previous internship’s at Long Island Counsel for Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, as well as completing internship hours here at Nassau Psychology.
Tori utilizes an integrated approach based on each client’s specific needs, with a strong influence in person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy. Her experiences range from treating children through adulthood with anxiety, depression, ADHD, communication issues, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues.
Tori believes that counseling is a collaborative process, where she prioritizes building a trusting therapeutic relationship and a safe space for all clients to express themselves freely. Her goal as a counselor is to encourage and empower clients to recognize their current strengths, develop new coping skills, and acknowledge that growth and positive change is possible.
